The NorthRim pack is designed for off-trail backpacking and built to endure harsh terrain. It uses Dyneema Woven Composite 5.0 on outer pockets, bottom, and hip belt pockets for durability and abrasion resistance. Side and over-the-top compression straps secure external gear and stabilize the load. The roll-top closure provides weather resistance and compressibility, keeping gear dry and allowing size adjustment.
